Cheese curd rake from Beecher's Handmade Cheese in Seattle, ca. 2016

Beecher's Handmade Cheese was founded by Kurt Beecher Dammeier in 2003 and soon after opened a shop in Pike Place Market in Seattle. The company was named for his great-grandfather Beecher McKenzie. The rake is used to separate the curds from the milk to make cheese.

Marine Construction & Design Co. was founded in 1953 and is based in Seattle, Washington. They manufacture and supply fishing equipment, hydraulic components and drives, and marine equipment in the United States and internationally. The Puretic power block, invented by Croatian fisherman, Mario Puratic in 1953, is a mechanised winch and aluminum pulley used to haul nets on fishing vessels.

Mini-Blaster detonater made by Explosive Corporation of America (EXCOA), ca. 1980

EXCOA was a mid-late 20th century subsidiary of the Rocket Research Corporation focused on controlled blasting, demolition, and engineering consulting. A tragic explosion occurred in 1970 at their facilities once located in the Preston area near Echo Lake, killing three senior level employees and injuring 3 others.

Trading cards featuring Seattle Seahawks wide receiver, Steve Largent, 1989

Stephen Michael Largent (b. 1954) was a Hall of Fame wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks from 1976-1989, holding several all-time receiving records when he retired. Largent then went on to serve in the US House of Representatives for Oklahoma from 1994-2002. These trading cards were made and sold by a Pacific Trading Cards, Inc., an Edmonds, Washington company.

Set of surveying tools used by James Casey Embree, ca. 1903-1939

James Casey Embree (1881-1940) was an early Seattle civil engineer. He was responsible for surveying various Seattle neighborhoods and, from 1906-1924, he worked on the Alaskan Engineering Commission that would provide railroads to parts of Alaska following the Gold Rush of 1897.
