The MOHAI research library, known as the Sophie Frye Bass Library, preserves and provides access to historic materials covering the history of the Seattle metropolitan area, Washington State, and Alaska. These collections contain photographs, manuscripts, maps, books, moving images, printed ephemera, oral histories, and archival holdings such as business and organization records, personal papers, and other historical documents.
