
Three may be a crowd, but ten qualifies for group discounts at MOHAI. Bring your friends, family, colleagues, clients, or anyone you think may enjoy exploring Seattle history. More information on prices and parameters can be found below.
All groups receiving discounted admission must visit together and pay admission in a single transaction at the time of entry or in advance. Standard admission rates apply to groups less than ten people.
We ask that all youth and teen groups please fill out either the Summer or Youth Group Experience Options.
Group Visit Pricing
- 10 or more adults = $18 per person
- 30 or more adults & senior groups = $15 per person (advanced bookings are required to receive this rate).
- Non-profit organizations = $10 per person (advanced bookings are required to receive this rate).
- Non-profit organizations serving historically excluded and/or low-income communities = Free admission (see Open Doors Program).
- University and College groups = $5 per person (advanced bookings are required to receive this rate).

Lumber, Labor, and More: The Atrium Tour
Ready to explore Seattle’s complex history in a new way? MOHAI’s Atrium Tour offers a deeper look at artifacts that have shaped our region. Discover how industries influenced labor, culture, and the environment, and join the conversation on how the past continues to impact life in Seattle today. Share your thoughts and explore the connections between history and the world we live in now on this interactive tour. Perfect for those who love meaningful experiences and thought-provoking discussions.
What to know before booking:
- Group tours typically last one hour and are a $40 add-on to group admission (see above/below for pricing).
- Group tours may be booked between 1-4pm most weekdays.
- Tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
- Requesting a tour on your booking form does not guarantee the availability of a staff facilitator on the requested day.
- The maximum group size for a tour is 25 people. Larger groups may be able to split up and take staggered tours.
Tour facilitators use voice amplification. A limited number of portable stools will be available upon request. For accessibility support, contact programs@mohai.org.

Browse MOHAI and learn about Puget Sound’s history at any pace. Pick up a Gallery Guide at the Admission Desk (or download below) and use the free audio tours (available in English and Spanish) for highlights of permanent exhibits and to dive deeper into Seattle’s history.
