A green satin Carroll's Fine Jewelry case that once held earrings gifted to the donor's mother in 1968. Carroll's was a former landmark Seattle jewelry store that operated from 1895 to 2008.

Following the repeal of prohibition, the Seattle Brewing and Malting Company was purchased by Fritz and Emil Sick, who then repurchased the Rainier brand and began brewing Rainier in 1935. The brewery went through several names, such as Sick's Seattle Brewing and Malting, and Sicks Rainier Brewing Company, during the 1935–1977 period.

Therm-a-Rest ProLite air mattress from Cascade Designs, Inc., ca. 2013

The Therm-a-Rest is a highly compactible air mattress especially made for camping. Cascade Designs, inventors of the Therm-a-Rest, were founded in Seattle, Washington, in 1972 by two former Boeing engineers. This particular mattress is even more compact and lightweight than previous versions.

Filson patented the “Mackinaw Cruiser” in 1914. It was originally designed for timber cruisers—workers who measure trees and collect forest data. The back has a double layer of wool for warmth and to accommodate a roomy back pocket for storing maps. The same coat is still in production today with only a few modifications.C. C. Ballard Computer first opened in 1984 and was one of the original retail locations in the Seattle area to start selling personal computers (PCs) to the general public. Sales in the early 1990s reached $65 million and there were over 100 employees. The store closed in 1996 due to the onset of superstores and big box retailers.
