Event Series: Sari Stories

What stories are woven into the fabric of a sari?

Hear a selection of personal tales told by a group of Indian women about their saris, followed by a sari draping demonstration. See the diversity of Indian wedding fashions, both saris and accessories, in a special fashion show presented by Mangalam.

Wear your own sari and enter a drawing for a special prize! Stay for chai from Jaipur Avenue and food from itiffin4u.

Seating is limited and first come, first served. Doors will open 10 minutes before the program.

MOHAI Mercantile x Seattle Children’s Redmond Bargain Boutique Sari Pop-Up Shop: MOHAI Mercantile will host a sari pop-up shop featuring a curated collection of new and gently used family treasures, heirlooms, and acquisitions during Sari Stories on Sunday, December 15. 100% of net proceeds benefit Seattle Children’s and the uncompensated care fund.

Reception sponsored by India Association of Western Washington.
