Due to rain, all Outside the Brick activities will be moved inside the museum. All are welcome to enter and flex their creativity for free! To explore the upstairs galleries of MOHAI, paying museum admission will still be required.
Think you know LEGO®? Think again! Join us for a hands-on all ages day in the park with art making activities and unconventional builds. The creative possibilities are endless.
- Meet a Master Builder: Admire models on display, made by Anu Creates, and see her creative process in action.
- Printmaking: Join Partners in Print and try your hand at printmaking using LEGO Dots and a Provisional Press kit.
- Robotics: A LEGO robot that can detect colors? Join artist Dytrich Nguyen, and they’ll show you how it works!
- Still Life Drawing: Explore concept art and world building! Arrange your own LEGO scene, then sketch it out with the help of Gage Academy of Art.
- Marble Run: Some geniuses on the MOHAI staff will facilitate a collaborative game! Think RollerCoaster Tycoon®, but LEGO bricks and marbles.
