What stories and connections can be pulled from the physical objects around us? The artifacts throughout MOHAI are imbued with layers of personal, cultural, and historical meaning. In this art workshop, participants will explore the galleries and learn drawing techniques that capture what the objects mean to them.

Sarah Bixler

Sarah Bixler

Sarah Bixler is an observational artist living and working in Seattle Washington. She studied analytical figure drawing and sculpting with Gage Academy of Art and holds a BFA from the University of Washington. Her teaching balances analytical and academic technique with a contemporary and modern approach to seeing form and space. She has taught observational drawing and painting with Gage Academy of Art since 2011.
