Event Series: Behind the Seams

Peek into MOHAI’s textile collection and view treasures rarely seen. World War I had a massive impact on every corner of European and American society, including what people wore. From 1914 to 1918, the last vestiges of the Edwardian era were swept away and the groundwork was laid for the roaring twenties. These intimate one-hour sessions, led by MOHAI’s Costume and Textile Specialist, Clara Berg, allow viewers to discover garments in detail and hear the stories that make them special.

For disability accommodations, please contact programs@mohai.org two weeks prior to the event.
