Outdoor Adventuring

With snowcapped mountains within sight of downtown, the proximity of the great outdoors to Seattle has created an adventurous culture. The people of our region have devoted hours of recreational time to building skills and reaching milestones, and local businesses have developed top-quality outdoor gear to support their pursuits.

Land Acknowledgement

MOHAI stands on the historic and contemporary lands and shores of the Duwamish, Suquamish, Muckleshoot, and other Coast Salish Nations. We acknowledge the forced displacement of Native Communities from this land while honoring the endurance of the Duwamish people who still live here.
