Order an Image
Mary (Coyle) Osmun (1913-1981) was the first of two daughters of University of Washington football hero (1980-1912) and Washington State Lieutenant Governor (1921-1925) William Jennings "Wee" Coyle (1888-1977) and his wife, Minnie May (Dalby) Coyle (1888-1964). Pictured here is the Seattle Public Schools report card regarding Mary's progress according to the Physical Education Department, and signed by Minnie. At the time the family was living about a block from F. A. McDonald Elementary School (now McDonald International School) in the Meridian neighborhood, so that may have been the school Mary was attending.
