The early punk band X formed in Los Angeles in 1977 with original members Exene Cervenka, John Doe, Billy Zoom, and D. J. Bonebrake. When X came to Seattle in 1981, they performed at the three venues listed in the poster pictured here: the Showbox at 1426 First Avenue, with the Subhumans and Deans; WREX at 2018 First Avenue, with Oregon band Napalm Beach; and at Astor Park at Fifth and Lenora, with unnamed guests.
