This poster advertises a September 1 concert at the Meatlockers (or Meatlocker, Meat Lockers) at 1426 S. Jackson Street, with five bands listed: The U-Men, a Seattle band founded in 1981 by John Bigley, Tom Price, Charlie Ryan, Robin Buchan, and Jim Tillman, and later including Tom Hazelmyer and Tony Ransom; Room Nine, a pre-grunge Seattle band formed in the early 1980s by Sammamish high school friends Ron Rudzitis, Scott Boggan and Scott Vanderpool; Baba Yaga, featuring Bill Warner, formerly of the band Vexed, and not to be confused with the later, all-female Seattle band of the same name; The Fags, a Seattle band whose members included siblings Ben and Barbara Ireland, Paul Solger, Dahny Reed, Charles "Upchuck" Gerra, and Jane Playtex; and PMA, a band that lived and worked out of a storefront in the Central District.
