Blackouts concert poster, December 29, 1984
Order an ImageThe Blackouts were a punk rock band formed in Seattle in 1979 by guitarist Erich Werner, drummer Bill Rieflinafter, and bassist Mike Davidson after the breakup of their previous band, The Telepaths. They were later joined by Roland Barker, on synthesizer and saxophone; his brother Paul Barker replaced Davidson on bass in 1981. The band relocated to Boston, and then San Francisco.
