Order an Image
The poster pictured here advertises a night of performances at Le Club Hit in Seattle by at least two local bands: The Moberlys, made up of Jim Basnight, Jeff Cerar, Steve Grindle, and Steve Pearson; and The Queen Annes, featuring James Gascoigne, Tom O’Connell, Kip Phillips, John Carey, Toby Keil, and Joe Meyering.

Le Club Hit was a venue at 935 Westlake Avenue North that operated as a batting cage by day and a dance club by night from 1983-1985. The club served no alcohol and often catered to an under-age crowd. The tagline for the club printed here reads, "rock your pocks off," referring to the pock-marked, or acne-scarred, facial skin often associated with teenagers.
