Interview with commercial fisherman David (Guy) and Allison Demmert conducted by Jeffrey Kahrs for the Commercial Fisherman Oral History Project on November 6, 2015. In the interview, the Demmert's discuss their careers fishing along the West Coast and in Southeast Alaska. Guy Demmert is a seine captain and Allison Demmert is a deckhand. Conversations include women skippering boats and fishing with family. The Demmert family is Alaska Native from the Tsimshian and Tlingit tribes and briefly mention this history.
