Downtown Seattle's Roosevelt Hotel, located at Seventh Avenue and Pine Street, opened in 1929, and at 22 stories was the tallest hotel in the city at the time. Designed in the modernistic Art Deco mode by prominent local architect John Graham, Sr. (1873-1955), and constructed by A.W. Quist & Company, the building was owned by Western Hotels, Inc. The new hotel differed from earlier styles in that it included a large lobby, restaurants, meeting rooms, and storefront level retail spaces. The hotel has been remodeled several times, most recently in 2016, after its purchase by Portland-based Provenance Hotels. The hotel reopened as Hotel Theodore in 2018, and retains its original rooftop neon signage.

This folded brochure for the Roosevelt Hotel was published shortly after opening and advertises room rates as $2, $2.50, and $3 per night.
