My Washington

The music and lyrics for "My Washington" were written by Harry Lauriston Stone (b. 1881) a well-known songwriter and music publisher from Spokane who was briefly married to Evelyn Comiskey, daughter of Chicago White Sox owner Charles Comiskey. The song was published by Benson and Stone, and a history of Seattle is printed on the verso of the title page. The back page has a description of the State of Washington.
