Sponsored by the Seattle chapter of the Tacky Tourist Clubs of America, the Queen City Cruise on August 6, 1983, promised "An Unforgivable Naughtycal Adventure on the High Seas!" The "Unofficial Seafair" event was held annually on Elliott Bay for several years and raised money for the Seattle Counseling Service for Sexual Minorities (now known as Seattle Counseling Service or SCS) and by the Northwest AIDS Foundation (now part of Lifelong).The Seattle Chapter also hosted other popular events, such as "The Prom You Never Went To," billed as a "madcap costume party for all lifestyles."

This advertisement for the cruise was printed in the form of a postcard, complete with a message relaying how much fun a fictitious couple had on the cruise.
