Inez Louisa Denny was born in 1893 to David Thomas Denny II and Nellie Graham Denny. She attended the University of Washington and in 1918 married John Charles Whiteaker (1894-1958). Their son, John D. Whiteaker, was born in 1926. Inez Louisa was a member of the Guild of Children’s Orthopedic Hospital and the Washington State Historical Society.

In this image, Inez poses for a formal studio portrait, wearing what appears to be a christening gown. She has dark, curly hair, and appears to be about 18 months old.
