Here, fourteen young women stand onstage with a male announcer. This was apparently part of the Queen Central Area Mardi Gras pageant. From left to right are: unidentified, Beverly (Washington) Kelly, Gloria (Jenkins) Bowman, Gertrude (Johnson) Peoples, Robert Braxton, and Vivian (Meade) Caver, Leanella Lombard, Ruth Johnetta Weber Latcholia, Royleen Washington, three unidentified, Theresa (Willa) Miller Frank, and two unidentified.
