Mrs. Kreisel's grandchild in cowboy costume, Seattle, circa 1949

Order an Image
A toddler, the grandson of Mrs. Kreisel, stands on the sidewalk below the front steps of a home, dressed in a cowboy costume. He is posed with a red pull wagon decorated as pioneer's wagon, with a doll in the driver's seat and a sign on the side reading "Day's of '49'" [sic]. On the ground near the boy is a sorority trophy. Television westerns made cowboy costumes popular at this time.
