Order an ImageSeattle's women's flat track roller derby league, the Rat City Roller Derby, got its start in April 2004 as Rat City Rollergirls and quickly built a large local following. Rat City is a founding member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), and has achieved success on the WFTDA stage, qualifying for WFTDA Playoffs every season, including a second-place finish in the 2007 WFTDA Championships.
This poster advertises the Season Two: Bout Three match held in May 2006 at Hangar 27, a former Navy hangar in Magnuson Park, the league's home rink until 2008. The poster was drawn by Brutefish, a collective comprised of Houston artists Ben Catfish Perez and Steve Sims.
