Contact MOHAI to OrderThe Darigold cooperative was founded in 1918 by a group of five Puget Sound dairy cooperatives as the United Dairyman's Association. The Association bought the Consolidated Dairy Products Company in 1930. The Darigold brand name was selected at a contest during a summer picnic in 1925. Darigold is currently owned by over 500 member dairy farms in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California and Montana, and is headquartered on Rainier Avenue South in Seattle.
