In the early days of the Beatles popularity, George Harrison had a reputation for being "the quiet Beatle." After the 1964 world tour ended, George decided to ask himself the questions that reporters had never asked in the course of dozens of press conferences during the tour. In this self-interview, one of the questions George asks himself is:""You've been called 'the most easy-going Beatle.' What do you take that to mean?" George answers:""I suppose it means alot of things which are true. I'm slow-- I like to to take my time whether it is to think out a reply, or to tune up my guitar. I hate to dart from one subject to another. I get some sort of personal satisfaction out of finishing one thing before I start another." This portrait of Harrison was taken by Seattle teenager Timothy Eagan, a budding photographer who managed to obtain a press pass for the Seattle concert.
