This issue of the zine "Mini-Mag" consists of an interview with "Ricky Cresciend'o," the byline for music journalist Daniel O'Brien, who wrote a column called "Lip Service" for The Rocket newspaper. The interview, by "Ike Horn," probably a pseudonym for fellow Rocket writer Dennis Eichhorn, takes place at a fund raiser for "Ricky" at the Buffalo Tavern in Ballard, supported by bands Dynamic Logs, Annie Rose and the Thrillers, Blue Nuns, and Knights of Colombian. Money raised would go towards a trip to Europe, where O'Brien would report on the music scene in various European cities. O'Brien also discusses his employment history, including his stint as the Duck for alternative music radio station KISW, wearing a duck suit to concerts and elsewhere to promote the station. "Ike Horn" also interviews members of the bands performing at the event, humorously inquiring as to why they would donate their time on "Ricky's" behalf.
