The certificate pictured here was issued to Rhoda P. Mueller upon completion of the Rainier Draft Beer School. Rhoda (Mueller) Stockman (b. 1950) owned the Fabulous Rainbow Tavern at 722 N.E. 45th Street in the University District from 1983-1986. A legendary Seattle nightclub, The Rainbow first opened at the same location as a beer parlor in 1936 by Frank Salvino (1902-1960). Throughout the 1960s-1980s the club was a hub for the local music scene, and hosted shows by Annie Rose and The Thrillers, The Young Fresh Fellows, Jr. Cadillac, Green River, Robert Cray, and Soundgarden.
