Bumbershoot poster, Seattle, September 4-7, 1998

Begun as "Festival '71" in 1971, Seattle's Bumbershoot has become one of North America's largest urban arts festivals, held annually over Labor Day weekend at the Seattle Center.

The poster pictured here was designed by Dorit Ely Design, and features artwork by Ginny Ruffner and photography by Mike Sidel and Chad Brown. It was printed by Heath Printers.
