Sick's Stadium, also known as Sick's Seattle Stadium and later as Sicks' Stadium, first opened on June 15, 1938, as a baseball stadium in Seattle, Washington, located in Rainier Valley, at the corner of S. McClellan Street and Rainier Avenue S. It was the longtime home of the Seattle Rainiers of the Pacific Coast League, and was named after Emil Sick, owner of the team and of the Rainier Brewing Company. In 1979, Sicks' Stadium was demolished, after the Kingdome was built to house the Seattle Mariners.
