Duncan & Sons, Inc. sold supplies for shoes and sold and repaired leather saddles and harnesses in Seattle from 1898-2007. The company was an important local business and was a large city employer in the first part of the 20th century. The catalog pictured here gives an excellent look into the business as it was in the 1920s. The catalog also has several pages of photographs in the front. The first photograph is of George Telfer Duncan, Jr. (1881-1969), and his eight sons. Mr. Duncan also had at least one daughter, but none are included in the picture.

The first eight pages are numbered with Roman numerals and include photographs of the family and factory, sale terms, and the company's guarantee. On the next 103 pages are listings of the company wares with pricing information. The last two pages are order forms. The booklet is enclosed with a cardstock back page in the same brick red.
