Vote for Nobody flier, 1978
Order an ImageVoters have often been frustrated by the election process, and some have expressed that frustration by not voting at all. This spoof- campaign flier promises that "Nobody is the Perfect Candidate" and encourages "If you think that Nobody represents Your interests, Vote For Nobody!" Text at bottom asks voters to use the power of the write-in vote to choose their own candidate. The campaign may have been inspired by the Yippee-led "Nobody for President" parody campaign during the 1976 US Presidential election.
