Demonstration to implement Vietnam War peace agreements flier, February 1, 1975

This flier from late January 1975 calls for a demonstration at Cowen Park near the University of Washington in support of the Vietnam War peace agreements. The flier demands to "End all aid to Thieu and Lon Nol!," referring to Cambodia’s Lon Nol and South Vietnam’s Nguyễn Văn Thiệu, who were leading fighting against communist forces. The protest was co-sponsored by Vietnam Veterans Against the War/Winter Soldier Organization, Organization of Arab Students, Revolutionary Union, U.W. Chapter- National Lawyers Guild, and the Revolutionary Student Brigade. Less than three months later, Vietnamese refugees would begin arriving in Washington State, and the South Vietnamese government surrendered on April 30, 1975.
