Order an ImageIn this photo, the Garfield High School football team celebrates their victory in the 1957 Turkey Day game at Memorial Stadium. The Bulldogs defeated the favored Clover Park Warriors with a last minute touchdown to win the game 6-0. Here, the Garfield players hoist coach John Boitano, at rear, to celebrate an undefeated season, Boitano's first as Garfield's coach. John Boitano coached the Bulldogs from 1957 to 1968.
