In this image, Marine Corporal Preston Clark smiles while surrounded by family and friends on the porch of his home on Yesler Way. Clark was greeted with a surprise parade which accompanied him from 23rd and Yesler to his home The Gulf War soldier was on 20 days leave from his unit, the 3rd Tank Battalion, Alpha Company, which was one of the first units to cross into Kuwait.
