In this image young Fanny Boone holds the hand of her cousin, Marine Cpl. Preston Clark, as the gulf war soldier's homecoming parade wends its joyful way east on Yesler Way towards his home. Cpl. Clark is on 20 days leave from his unit, the 3rd Tank Battalion, Alpha Company, which was one of the first units to cross into Kuwait.
