International Ball Queen finalists, Seattle, April 4, 1968

In 1968 the University of Washington's International Ball, sponsored by the UW Cosmopolitan Club, was held at the Norselander Restaurant on the top floor of the Norway Center at 300 Third Avenue West in downtown Seattle. Five female foreign exchange students were chosen as finalists for the title of International Ball Queen, to be crowned at the ball.

This photo shows the finalists for International Ball Queen of 1968. At back, from left, are Shadan Etemadi, Iran; Nyarinda Moikobu, Africa; and Kaye Raymond, Australia. In front are: Xina Joseph, India, at left, and Thereza Flarys, Brazil.
