The Seattle SuperSonics (commonly known as the Sonics) were a National Basketball Association (NBA) team based in Seattle, that played from 1967 until 2008. The Sonics competed in the league's Western Conference Pacific and Northwest divisions and won the NBA Championship in 1979. In 2008, the team's new ownership relocated to Oklahoma City, where they play as the Oklahoma City Thunder.

This photo was taken at the final home game before the team moved to Oklahoma City, which the Sonics won 99-95 over the Dallas Mavericks.
