Martell Webster (b. 1986) is a former professional basketball player who played 10 seasons in the NBA (National Basketball Association). Born in Edmonds and raised in Seattle, the 6’6” tall Webster was a high school basketball star for Seattle Prep, and was the first freshman to lead Prep in scoring and rebounding. Webster was recruited from high school directly into professional basketball and was the sixth player taken in the 2005 draft. Webster played with the Portland Trailblazers (2005-2010), Minnesota Timberwolves (2010-2012) and Washington Wizards (2021-2015). Martell Webster retired from basketball in 2017.
