Beginning in 1984, the Arthritis Foundation has sponsored annual Jingle Bell Runs across the country. Participants are encouraged to dress festively and raise money that funds research and resources through local programs.

In this image runners make their way through downtown Seattle, many wearing Santa hats and other costumes.
