For nearly 40 years, aviation enthusiasts, Museum of Flight visitors, and local workers enjoyed eating at Randy’s Restaurant. This Tukwila diner, south of Seattle’s Boeing Field, was open 24/7 and served fried chicken, pancakes, and a variety of other American dishes. The décor included a large collection of plane models and other aviation memorabilia assembled by owners Richard and Lucia Roadenizer. In 2020, however, the global pandemic closed nearby businesses, leaving few customers, and the couple reluctantly decided to close the restaurant.
