This image shows Webbie Lee Jackson at Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church just after the church honored him with a “Fishers of Men” award. The award, which refers to a Biblical passage, is given annually to men who are positive role models for young Black men in the community. Jackson was honored for his devotion to family, and for always being there to help when the church building needed work. Five other men were honored that year with "Fishers of Men" awards, presented by the church each year on Father's Day.
