Ku-Tee Yah Dancers, Redmond, May 16, 1997
Order an ImageIn May 1997, the Ku-Tee Yah Dancers performed at the Microsoft campus to thank the company for its tutoring program at Seattle’s American Indian Heritage High School and the Seattle Indian Health Board’s Healthy Nations youth programs. Also known as the Alaska Kuteeyaa Dancers, the group is based in Seattle and has members from many tribes.
Here, seven-year-old Keli Smith of Bellevue dances with a drummer.
