Order an ImageThe Northwest Admirals were a girls junior ice hockey team based in Seattle from 1995 through 1998. They were the first US girls or women's team to join the Canadian Lower Mainland Female Hockey League, which they won in the 1996-97 season with a record of 19 wins and no losses. By March of that season, the Admirals had scored 161 goals while conceding only 24. In addition to the Canadian league, the Admirals also participated in US regional and national hockey tournaments.
