The Seattle SuperSonics (commonly known as the Sonics) were a National Basketball Association (NBA) team based in Seattle, that played from 1967 until 2008. The Sonics competed in the league's Western Conference Pacific and Northwest divisions and won the NBA Championship in 1979. In 2008, the team's new ownership relocated to Oklahoma City, where they play as the Oklahoma City Thunder.

This image shows Santa Kemp, an alter ego of Sonics star Shawn Kemp, holding baby Roynerah Clewis while handing out Christmas presents at the Yesler Community Center. Kemp played for the Sonics from 1989-1997, including the team's run to the 1996 NBA Finals. He was nicknamed "Reign Man" and was an NBA All-Star six times.
