This image shows the first of the new buses for the Rainier Valley system being tried out on Aurora Avenue after it arrived from the Twin Coach Company of Kent, Ohio. Two of the Seattle Transit System's (later Metro Transit) orange-colored 31-passenger buses went in to service on March 3, 1937.
