Originally located on Denny Way, the Dog House restaurant was conveniently located for northbound travelers on Aurora Avenue, the Seattle section of Route 99. The Dog House restaurant and bar were also popular with locals. After the location was bypassed by the Battery Street tunnel in the 1950s, the restaurant moved nearby to Seventh Avenue and Bell Streets, where it remained until it closed in 1994.
