This image of Seventh Avenue in Seattle's Chinatown - International District neighborhood features the Chong Wa Benevolent Association at 522 Seventh Avenue South at the corner of Weller Street. The building, built in 1929, serves as a meeting place on matters of import to the community, as well as a home base for the Seattle Chinese Community Girls Drill Team, the Chinatown Dragon Team, and a Chinese language program. Visible in the background is the Pacific Tower, a 16-story building on Beacon Hill, completed in 1932 at 1200 12th Avenue South.
