In this image Susan Spong of Seattle helps paint the Medieval Adventures of Reynard the Fox on the walls of the Fremont Fine Arts Foundry. The art student is part of a crew that is working on the mural designed by Richard Beyer (1925-2012), who also created "People Waiting for the Interurban," one of the most popular works of public sculpture in Seattle. The mural, taken from a 13th-century French story, was created for a ceremony on May 18, 1991, marking the 13th anniversary of "the Interurban." The wall was repainted when the foundry was sold in 2012.
