Begun as the Seattle Timberliners around 1947, the Seattle Tip Toppers' Club, a non-profit social organization for tall persons, has been part of Tall Clubs International (TCI) since 1954. Minimum height requirements for membership in the club are 5’10” for women and 6’2” for men.

In this image club members Jim White, left, Al Bergman, and Zilpha Meador, wash a car in preparation for the club's August 29 car wash to raise money for two children's homes.
