Order an ImageThe Do Good Club, a club begun by five 11- and 12-year-old girls in Seattle's North Park neighborhood (roughly the area surrounding present-day North Seattle Community College), sponsored events to raise money for local organizations.
In this image Do Good Club parent supervisor Mrs. Anthony C. Tarr hands out tickets to the club members. The club members were to sell tickets for a Seattle talent and variety show hoping to raise $1000 for cancer research. The club members are identified from left as, Donna Mae Palladin, Janice Tarr, president, Maxine Nelson, Sharon Colman, Joanne Kawamoto, and Gaile Edwards.
