Order an Image
Seattle's International Community Health Services (ICHS) got its start at a time when low-income Asian immigrants in Seattle’s Chinatown - International District had few options when they needed a doctor who spoke their language. First opened in 1973 as the Asian Community Health Clinic, the main clinic is now located at 720 8th Avenue South, and provides medical services in more than 50 languages and dialects.

This image shows the exterior of the ICHS, then called the International District Community Health Center and located at 416 Maynard Street.
